Account and Data Deletion
SPT ParkEasy – Account Deletion
Users of the SPT ParkEasy mobile application and the SPT ParkEasy online platform can request deletion of their account and associated personal data at any time.
How to request account deletion
To request deletion of your SPT ParkEasy account:
- Email info@spt.ie with the subject “Account Deletion Request”.
- Send the request from the email address associated with your SPT ParkEasy account.
- Include your name and, where applicable, the vehicle registration number associated with your account so that we can identify and verify the account.
Once your request has been verified, your SPT ParkEasy account will be closed and personal data associated with the account that is no longer required will be permanently deleted or anonymised.
Data that will be deleted
Subject to our legal and regulatory obligations, account deletion includes the deletion or anonymisation of personal information associated with your account, including your name, contact information, registered vehicle details, account profile information and other personal data that is no longer necessary for us to retain.
Data that may be retained
Certain information may need to be retained after your account has been deleted where required for legitimate business, accounting, taxation, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or other legal and regulatory purposes. This may include transaction and payment records, invoices, financial records and records necessary to demonstrate compliance with our legal obligations.
Where information must be retained, it will only be retained for the period required by applicable law or for the purpose for which retention is necessary. It will not be used for marketing following deletion of your account.
Payment card details are not stored directly by SPT ParkEasy where payments are processed by our authorised third-party payment service providers.
